About us

HardNews started as an idea from 2 Dutch guys named Laurens van Beers & Thomas Sterks.
They had always been fascinated with music and when they had been introduced to the Harder Styles,
they never wanted to go back to anything else.

But they are both no DJ’s, nor producers. But because of their love for music, they wanted to find a way to express that love. In October 2011 they decided to start a website about hardstyle, 100% hardstyle. It’s not because it’s the only genre they love within the Hard Dance scene, but it’s the thing they love most.
The idea was to bring the news, previews, livesets and free tracks to the fans as soon as possible and promote and help out new talent, dj’s, producers, events & organizations and it’s working so far.

We have already had a lot of positive reactions and we use feedback to improve our site and keep doing
what we love and that is to spread the music called hardstyle to the rest of the world.

People ask us why we have a website completely in English when we are Dutch. This is because The Netherlands already has good hardstyle sites that we look up to. We do not want to limit ourselves only to the Dutch Hard Dance lovers, but we want to reach every Hard Dance lover in the world.
